Basque Week at Brasa – A Culinary Journey to Northern Spain

At the end of August, Brasa transforms into a celebration of Basque flavours and flair. For one week only, we’re diving deep into the bold, vibrant food culture of Northern Spain – with authentic dishes, local drinks, and a unique atmosphere to match.
From Wednesday to Saturday, guest chef Oscar García Baldeon from restaurant Txakoli Simon takes over our kitchen, reshaping Brasa’s menu Fire with a bold Basque twist. Expect powerful flavours, fresh seafood, and plenty of personality. As always, our à la carte menu and signature dry-aged meats are also available.
At the same time, Pintxo Week returns to Helsinki for its second edition – and of course Brasa is in! Grab your pintxos from our back terrace counter for just €3.60, served daily from 4 PM to 9 PM.
For wine lovers, there’s a real treat: join Basque wine expert Sanna Kissakangas for an exclusive tasting at Brasa on Thursday 28 August at 6 PM. You’ll sample five exceptional wines from the Basque country + Rioja area, paired with three pintxos. Price of the tasting 59€.
